There is always a catalyst to wanting to make a change. That could come from addiction, depression, or heartache. I think I've had a bit of everything, but the first thing that comes to mind is when I lost my father due to heart disease at 56 in 2020. The world was a dark place and it got darker.
Initially it didn't affect me, but a year after, I fell apart. My job at the time didn't help at all and things just didn't improve. There was no support for mental health or depression. A job change was needed and it started me off on the right path. I attempted to set up my own fitness brand and that didn't really work, it's on the back-burner and may still come back to life.
It has taken a further two years to find my purpose.
I want to inspire and help other people in their late 30's and beyond to grab life by the balls and become a better version of yourself. Through discipline and consistency, great things can happen and you can transform mediocrity into greatness. It won't be easy, but anything worth having isn't.
Through my experiences and transformation I want to prove that anything is possible with the right mindset and the great thing is, is that if you're joining me in early 2025, you're joining me at the start of this incredible journey. We're almost on page one together. However, if you're joining a bit later on, you can see what I have achieved so far and I hope that inspires you to get onboard and make a change.
My fitness journey is a bit different to a lot of people online. I'm not trying to lose weight, I'm not already built with incredible muscles, and I'm not someone famous already. I'm just a regular guy, in my late 30's, who is a hardgainer with genetics that are trying to prevent me from getting bigger. But do you know what? Who cares about that, this is a challenge and I'm stepping up to the plate and taking it head on.
I hope you'll join me and see that no matter what, anything is possible with the right mindset.
